Band Pass Construction

Posted by on in Freespeakerplans Website Blog

These are pic's of my latest project.

The plan was downloaded from S/P two years ago. Since then I have found the book the plan came from. I have noticed the plan has been removed from S/P site, or maybe I'm not looking in the right place.

I would say these subs are not difficult to build. As you can see I opted to construct them out of mdf, with pine batons to strengthen the corners.

Yes, these are heavy ! I would recommend castors.

Couple of tips if you use mdf, use mdf screws, not standard. Drill the correct size pilot hole before fixing. Before final assembly, paint the entire cabinet with a thinned waterproof pva.
